Black is my favourite colour and I really enjoy every silent night. Until I lived in Europe for one year, I have never thought that black meant sadness.
During the wintertime in Europe, the sun goes down very early. Streets, houses and all the places become empty and dark in the nighttime.
Suddenly, I realised why people always love to have gatherings and parties compared to Hong Kong. Is it because people feel lonely and sad during the nighttime?
Therefore, I want to capture light sources from different places in the nighttime as many as possible with my film camera, just like how people try to find warmness during every long, lonely night.
